How VPSGrid Billing Works
Short answerVPSGrid bills through the WHMCS client area at billing.vpsgrid.net. Services renew on a prepaid cycle; invoices are created before renewal, and unpaid invoices can lead to suspension. Manage invoices, payment methods, upgrades, and cancellations from your account.
Overview
This article explains the billing model at a high level. Paying an invoice: How to Pay an Invoice. Viewing cycle details: How to View Your VPS Billing Cycle.
Where billing lives
- Client area: billing.vpsgrid.net
- Billing → Invoices (or the Invoices menu) for amounts due
- Services → My Services for each VPS/domain/add-on’s status and renewal info
Invoices and due dates
- Invoices are generated automatically for renewals and many one-time charges (upgrades, domains, add-ons)
- Each invoice has a due date and status (Unpaid / Paid / Cancelled, etc.)
- Pay from the invoice page using the payment methods shown at checkout
Billing cycles
- Common cycles include monthly and longer terms when offered at order time
- Your service page shows the next due / renewal information for that product
- Changing cycle (when available) is handled during upgrade/order flows — not by editing the guest OS
What you are billed for
- VPS plans — published resources (CPU/RAM/disk/transfer)
- Domains — registration/renewal when purchased through VPSGrid
- Add-ons — optional products attached to a service (when ordered)
- Upgrades — prorated charges may appear as upgrade invoices — How to Upgrade Your VPS Plan
Non-payment and service status
- Overdue invoices can result in service suspension
- Paying the overdue invoice typically restores service after payment confirmation
- Longer non-payment can lead to termination per Terms of Service — restore is not guaranteed after removal
Important notes
- Billing questions are handled by support; guest OS work on unmanaged VPS remains your responsibility
- This article does not publish prices — see live store/invoice pages
- Refund eligibility is covered separately — Refund Policy Overview
Verify
- Confirm the change in the Client Area or guest OS as described above
- Retest the original symptom from a second network or device when relevant
- If it still fails, capture command output or screenshots before opening a ticket
