How to Renew a Domain
Short answerOpen Domains → My Domains, select the domain, turn Auto Renew on if you want automatic renewals, and pay any domain renewal invoice under Billing → Invoices before the expiry / next due date. Letting a domain expire risks downtime and loss of the name.

If a domain lapses, websites and email using that name can stop resolving. Renew early — do not wait until the last day.
1) Find the domain
- Log in at billing.vpsgrid.net
- Open Domains → My Domains
- Note the domain status and next due / expiry information shown for each domain
- Click the domain to open its management page
2) Prefer Auto Renew (recommended)
- On the domain details page, find the Auto Renew section
- If status shows disabled, click Enable Auto Renew
- Keep a valid payment method / pay renewal invoices when they appear so auto-renew can complete
Auto renew still depends on successful payment of the renewal invoice.
3) Renew from the domain page (when shown)
- On domain details, look for a Renew action (shown when renewal is available)
- Follow the renewal checkout / invoice prompts
- My Domains also supports bulk renew actions when enabled
4) Manual renewal via invoice
- Open Billing → My Invoices
- Look for an unpaid domain renewal invoice
- Open it and complete payment
- Return to Domains and confirm the new term / next due date after processing
If no invoice is visible close to expiry, open a ticket with the domain name before it expires.
5) After renewal
- Confirm domain status remains Active
- Leave nameservers/DNS as-is unless you intend to change them
- Keep WHOIS/contact email reachable for registrar notices

Does renewing a domain renew my VPS?
No. Domains and VPS are separate products with separate invoices.
Are domain renewals refundable?
Domain registrations/renewals are generally non-refundable under VPSGrid Terms. See the Refund Policy Overview.
What if Auto Renew is on but payment failed?
Pay the unpaid invoice immediately and update your payment method. Contact support if the domain is near expiry.
