Refund Policy Overview
Short answerEligible VPS services may qualify for a 7-day money-back guarantee from initial activation. Many other items are non-refundable. Cancellation alone does not equal a refund — open a billing support ticket to request one. Official terms: vpsgrid.net/legal.
Overview
This article summarizes the published refund rules for customers. If anything here conflicts with the live Terms of Service, the Terms control.
Money-back and non-refundable lists are taken from VPSGrid’s legal Terms on vpsgrid.net/legal. Always re-check that page for the latest wording.
7-day money-back guarantee (eligible VPS)
- VPSGrid offers a 7-day money-back guarantee for eligible VPS services
- Request within 7 calendar days of the initial activation date
- Requests after that window are generally not honored under the published Terms
Your welcome / refund-window emails (when sent) may show the eligibility end date for a specific service — use that date when present.
Typically non-refundable
Per published Terms, the following are non-refundable:
- Dedicated servers
- Setup fees
- Domain registrations
- Software licenses
- IPv4 address allocations / additional IP blocks
- Add-on services
- Services terminated for abuse or policy violations
How to request a refund
- Confirm you are still inside any applicable money-back window
- Back up data if you still need it (refunds usually end the service)
- Open a ticket at billing.vpsgrid.net
- Include: service ID, invoice number(s), activation date, and reason
Staff review eligibility. Approved refunds are processed back through the original payment path when possible.
Cancellation vs refund
- Cancel — stops the service / renewals (How to Cancel a Service)
- Refund — money returned when policy allows (this article)
You may need both steps depending on your situation.
Chargebacks
Contact VPSGrid support to resolve billing disputes before filing a bank/payment-processor chargeback. Per Terms, chargebacks can lead to immediate suspension, account termination, and collection of outstanding balances.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is every VPS refundable for 7 days?
Only eligible VPS services under the Terms. Abuse terminations and many add-on/domain charges are excluded.
