MarketConnect Billing and Renewals
Short answerMarketConnect add-ons are billed through your VPSGrid account like other services: you receive invoices before renewal, pay in the client area, and manage the product under Services. Provisioning and product features are handled by the third-party vendor; VPSGrid assists with billing and account access.
Overview
MarketConnect lets VPSGrid resell partner services (SSL certificates, website builders, email suites, backups, and similar add-ons) inside the same WHMCS client area you use for VPS hosting. Product overview: MarketConnect Services Overview. General billing model: How VPSGrid Billing Works.
What VPSGrid currently sells via MarketConnect
Availability can change, but active partner categories typically include:
- SSL certificates (RapidSSL, GeoTrust, DigiCert tiers)
- Weebly website builder plans
- OX App Suite email / productivity
- CodeGuard website backup plans
- Site Builder hosted site builder tiers

How billing works
- You order an add-on at checkout (standalone or alongside another product when offered)
- VPSGrid creates a service record in your account
- Renewal invoices are generated on a prepaid cycle (commonly monthly or annual depending on the product)
- Pay open invoices at Billing → My Invoices — How to Pay an Invoice
MarketConnect renewals follow the same unpaid-invoice rules as VPS services: overdue invoices can lead to suspension or termination of the add-on per WHMCS automation and vendor policy.
Renewals
- Watch for renewal reminder emails before the due date
- Keep a valid payment method on file or pay manually before the invoice due date
- SSL and similar time-bound products may stop working if renewal payment fails — plan ahead for certificate expiry windows
- Review the service next due date on the product details page under Services → My Services
Cancellations
- Log in to billing.vpsgrid.net
- Open Services → My Services and select the MarketConnect product
- Use Request Cancellation (or equivalent) when shown
- Choose immediate vs end-of-billing-period cancellation when prompted
Cancellation stops future billing for that add-on. It does not automatically migrate data out of a third-party dashboard — export anything you need before the service ends. VPS cancellation guide for reference: How to Cancel a VPS Service.
Provisioning and support boundaries
| Topic | VPSGrid | Third-party vendor |
|---|---|---|
| Invoices, payments, renewals | Yes — WHMCS client area | Billed through VPSGrid |
| Initial provisioning / activation | Triggers order workflow | Vendor systems deliver the product |
| Product configuration (SSL validation, site editor, mailbox setup) | General guidance when possible | Primary — vendor tools and documentation |
| Feature limits inside the add-on | Refer to vendor tier | Vendor terms apply |
| Guest OS / VPS administration | Unmanaged VPS support scope only | Not a MarketConnect billing topic |
Third-party terms, privacy policies, and acceptable-use rules apply in addition to VPSGrid policies.
Where to manage add-ons
- Services → My Services — status, next due date, cancellation, vendor login links when provided
- Billing → My Invoices — pay renewal or new-order invoices
- Store / homepage add-ons — browse and order new MarketConnect products
Frequently Asked Questions
Is MarketConnect billing separate from my VPS invoice?
Each product usually has its own service record and renewal invoice. They may appear on the same account but not necessarily on one combined recurring charge.
My SSL certificate expired — what now?
Check for an unpaid renewal invoice first. If billing is current, open a ticket with the certificate domain and service ID so we can review provisioning status with the vendor.
Does canceling an add-on cancel my VPS?
No. MarketConnect products are separate services. Cancel each product individually.
